This small, white, smooth-tasting delicacy carries on a 400-year tradition.
Each green aniseed is patiently covered with fine successive layers of sugar syrup delicately scented with anise, or also with mint, violet or orange blossom.
The last in a line of family-owned anise candy manufacturers making their products in the abbey since the 16th century.
