DOP Kolymvari Single Estate Olive Oil - 750 ml (Terra Creta, Greece)

Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) olive oil, it comes with a seal of security and a serial number allowing consumers to trace the product all the way back to the olive grove in Crete.

Very light and mildly fruity. Has been recognized as one of the best olive oils in the world, in its category.

Olive variety: Koroneiki.

2009. Gold Medal at the AVPA competition, Mildly Fruity category, Paris. France.
2007. First prize, Medium Fruity, at the 2007 Panhellenic Extra Virgin Olive Oil competition organized in association with the Greek Ministry of Development.
2006. Highest score in the sensory evaluation analysis of all olive oils sold in Greek supermarkets conducted by the Greek magazine Olive & Olive Oil.
2005. Chosen as the world’s best olive oil, from among 800 olive oils tested, by the German magazine Der Feinschmecker.
2004. First prize, Medium Fruity, at the 2004 Panhellenic Extra Virgin Olive Oil competition under the aegis of the International Olive Oil Council.
