Cranberry Conserve with Port & Pecans - 250 ml (Summer Kitchen, Ontario, Canada)

No water is used in making this product. Instead, the cranberries are cooked in port wine and freshly squeezed orange juice, making the flavours very intense. The addition of pecan pieces and raisins means that it is a conserve*, not a jam.
 
This cranberry conserve can accompany any roast turkey, veal or pork. Delicious with Brie, cream cheese, waffles, toast or cheesecake.
 
* Conserves are fruit mixtures, generally containing a citrus fruit, with dried fruits and nuts.
